The joy within my work and life comes from the power of social care to connect people and communities and to transform lives.

Social care is about all of us: my experience and values have been shaped by the experiences of four generations of my family across mental health, disability and ageing. I am passionate about the potential and dignity of all of us.

Its those values that mean I have spent over 25 years in a whole range of leadership positions within social care - as Director, President of ADASS, Board member, Chair and coach.

Public service and social care is exploring some of the complex questions of our time - how we stay safe or age well may be simple asks but have no set answers. If you are interested in some form of support for your journey through these issues, I am always interested in hearing from you.
